Christmas Eve arrives and Sally attempts to stop Jack, but he climbed onto the coffin as a sled pulled by reindeer bone, guided by his nose glowing ghost dog Zero. He began to give gifts to children around the world, but the prize (head shrinking, Christmas tree-eating snakes, etc.) just to scare the recipient. Jack believed to be a fraudster attempting to imitate Santa, and the military continue to be vigilant to blow him in the sky. This sled was shot down and he was considered dead by the citizens of Halloween Town, but in fact he had survived the crash. Although he was distressed by the failure of his plan, he quickly regains his old spirit, having come up with new ideas for next Halloween. He then hurried back to the house to save Santa and do the right thing.
Meanwhile, Sally attempts to free Santa, but was captured by Oogie. Jack slipped into the nest and release them, then face and destroy Oogie then spilled all the insects that live inside him. With Oogie gone, Santa reprimanding Jack before setting off to give the right gifts to children in the world. He makes snow fall in Halloween Town to show that there is no irritation between him and Jack, townspeople confused by the snow at first, but soon began playing happily in it. Jack reveals that he is attracted to Sally as she is attracted to Jack, and they kissed under the full moon in the cemetery.
